A forgotten mandatory field can also be a reason why your application gets rejected. Usually your will find an asterisk beneath all mandatory fields of your application form. There will be thousands of application forms on the desks of your credit card company and one which cannot be read will definitely be rejected.
These are all human errors that server as deterrent to the processing of your credit card but all of them are repairable. Just correct the mistakes and fill in the missing information. You only problem will then be a small delay in your application.
Bad credit ratings are the biggest reason for getting an application rejected. If you have made several defaults in your previous bills it not only made you pay fines and late fees but also gave you a negative credit history. A good credit rating is important for any credit card application because your past performance will pave the success of any future applications for a bank card.
You credit rating will reflect if you have paid all your loans or credit card charges on time in the past. You can’t run away from those records because every time you file a credit card application from any card supplier your credit will get calculated by credit bureaus. And they also get feedback from other credit suppliers.
